2. Pricing & Promotions
General Pricing
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice.
International buyers: the price shown on the website should automatically convert to your local currency. If it does not, you can easily change the currency shown by scrolling to the bottom of our website and selecting your desired currency.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time and to cancel orders placed at an incorrect price.
Promotions & Storewide Sales
All promotions and discounts: - Are valid only during the advertised period - Are subject to stock availability - Cannot be applied retrospectively - Cannot be combined with any other offer unless explicitly stated
Prices and promotions are final once an order has been placed.
We do not offer price adjustments on orders placed before or after a sale or promotional event.
If an item returns to stock after a promotion ends, promotional pricing will not apply.
From time to time, limited-time or mid-sale promotions may be offered. These are valid only for the timeframe specified and cannot be applied to previous purchases.
3. Returns Policy
By placing and paying for an order, you agree to the Returns Policy as published on our website at the time of purchase.
General Returns
We offer returns for store credit or exchange. Refunds are issued in some circumstances at the discretion of Sheila May Swim. Approved refunds will be processed minus a $15 restocking fee and actual shipping charges may also be witheld from refund.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
Sale Period Returns
During storewide sales or promotional periods: - Items discounted by 25% or less: Eligible for exchange or store credit - Items discounted by 30% or more: Eligible for store credit only - “Last Pieces” items: Final sale. No returns or exchanges
Major promotion purchases are final and not eligible for refund unless faulty under Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty Items
If a product is faulty, customers are entitled to remedies in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
If a replacement is not available, a refund will be provided.
4. Shipping & Processing
Processing Times
Orders placed during major promotional periods may take up to 5 business days to dispatch.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping details are accurate and complete at the time of checkout.
Sheila May Swim is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.
Shipping Protection – Checkout+
Sheila May Swim offers Checkout+ Package Protection at checkout for Australian customers.
Checkout+ is available for an additional fee and provides: - Protection against loss or damage in transit - Free return shipping for eligible returns - Coverage until delivery is confirmed by Australia Post via Proof of Delivery (POD)
Checkout+ is automatically included at checkout and may be removed by the customer prior to completing their purchase.
Shipping Protection
Once an order has been dispatched and handed to Australia Post or another nominated carrier, the carrier is responsible for delivery.
If Checkout+ has been selected, parcels are protected against loss or damage in transit up until delivery is confirmed via Australia Post’s Proof of Delivery (POD).
If Checkout+ is not selected, Sheila May Swim is not liable for parcels that are lost or damaged in transit.
Once a parcel has been marked as delivered (POD), responsibility transfers to the customer.
Returns & Checkout+
If Checkout+ has been selected: - A prepaid return label will be provided free of charge for eligible returns.
If Checkout+ has not been selected: - A standard return fee applies, as outlined in our Returns Policy.
Products marked as “Last Pieces” or “Final Sale” are not eligible for return, regardless of whether Checkout+ was selected.
5. International Orders
USA Customers
For customers located in the United States: - Duties, tariffs and import taxes are covered by Sheila May Swim. - No additional charges will be payable upon delivery.
Other International Destinations
For customers outside Australia, New Zealand and the USA: - Orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or handling fees. - These charges are determined by local authorities. - These fees are the responsibility of the customer. - These fees are not included in shipping costs at checkout.
6. Returned to Sender Parcels
If a parcel is returned due to: - Unpaid duties or import fees - The parcel being unclaimed - An incorrect or incomplete address
The following applies: - A $20 return fee will be applied on International RTS to cover carrier return charges. - Original postage costs are non-refundable. - Once the parcel has been received, store credit will be issued. - Store credit will be calculated as the order value minus the $20 return fee and original postage cost.
Returned to Sender parcels cannot be re-dispatched. Customers may use their store credit to place a new order.
7. Fraud & Chargebacks
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or withhold shipment where fraudulent activity, unauthorised transactions, or suspicious behaviour is suspected.
We may request additional verification before dispatching an order.
8. Product Disclaimer
We make every effort to display products, colours and styles accurately. However: - Colour representation may vary depending on screen settings. - Pattern placement may vary due to small batch production.
Longevity of swimwear depends on proper care and exposure to elements such as chlorine, saltwater, sunscreens and pool chemicals. Fabric performance may vary depending on chemical concentration levels in pools and spas.
We cannot guarantee product lifespan under all conditions of use.
9. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, carrier delays, customs delays, governmental actions, or supply chain disruptions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Sheila May Swim shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or purchase of products.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia.
Any disputes arising in connection with this website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tasmania.
12. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

I really love my most recent purchase of the sea foam shorties. They fit me much better than the high cut black pair I bought first. Sea foam green was a colour of crayon 66 years ago when I was little. I'd never seen the ocean - didn't have a clue what the colour really was until I came to Australia at 50 years old and saw waves breaking in Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road. It was an amazing moment. I bought the black bottoms to begin with but having lost 40KG the size 10's didn't fit - neither did the 8's. I loved the top I bought - a frilly one with an ocean pattern (sorry I don't know all the lingo). I wish the sea foam green matched my top a bit better but it's OK with me. The customer service has been helpful and I appreciate the effort in helping me get a suit I am comfortable wearing. I am so in love with my sea foam bottoms!

Thumb holes might be a nice addition so sleevess stay down. I once had a rashie that had an elastic in the front that could be connected to bitton or zip on board shorts and whole you dont have shorts in your range it might be an added option to keep things sitting in place.
